Fried cauliflower in batter on mineral water

A simple and fun way to cook cauliflower. The inflorescences of cabbage, pre-boiled, are quickly fried in batter, which, thanks to the mineral water, turns out to be airy and tender. The brown cauliflower is delicious. Try it!

  1. We wash the cauliflower and disassemble it into medium-sized inflorescences.
  2. In a saucepan, bring about 1 liter of water to a boil, add 1 teaspoon of salt and send the cabbage inflorescences into boiling water. Cook after boiling again for about 5 minutes, almost until tender.
  3. We put the cabbage in a colander so that the water is glass.
  4. Break eggs into a bowl.
  5. Beat the eggs with a mixer (or whisk) until smooth and fluffy.
  6. We pour in mineral water.
  7. And gradually add flour, stirring the mass all the time.
  8. The batter should resemble thick sour cream in consistency.
  9. Add salt, black pepper and Provencal herbs.
  10. Mix everything well.
  11. We dip the inflorescences in batter so that the entire surface of the cabbage is thoroughly covered with it.
  12. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and spread the cabbage inflorescences in batter.
  13. Fry the cabbage for 2-3 minutes on all sides, until a beautiful golden crust is formed.
  14. Put the finished cauliflower in batter in mineral water on a plate and serve.
