  1. Sift flour.
  2. Pour warm water into a bowl. Add salt, sugar, vegetable oil and yeast. Mix well.

  4. Then, adding flour in parts (by glass), knead the dough with your hands. Cover the dough with a towel and place in a warm place.
  5. After 20-30 minutes (when the dough doubles) knead the dough.
  6. Peel and wash potatoes. Cut into slices.
  7. Boil the kettle.
  8. Put the potatoes in a saucepan, pour boiling water over. Season with salt, add bay leaf. Cook the potatoes over medium heat until tender (about 20 minutes).
  9. Meanwhile, peel and wash the onions. To cut in cubes.
  10. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put the chopped onion in the heated oil. Fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

  12. Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each part into a sausage. Cut the sausages into pieces. Roll the pieces into balls (the size of a small chicken egg).
  13. Roll each ball of dough into a cake with a rolling pin. Put the potato filling in the center of the cake (about 1 tablespoon). It is good to blind the edges of the dough, form a pie.
  14. Thus, mold all the pies with potatoes, laying them out on a chopping board sprinkled with flour.
  15. Preheat the cauldron. Pour vegetable oil into the cauldron (about 1 cup). In hot oil, gently lower the pies with the seam down. Fry patties with potatoes until golden brown over medium heat (about 2 minutes), then turn them over and fry on the other side in the same way.
  16. Ready-made pies can be laid out on a paper napkin (paper towel) to remove excess fat.
  17. Lean fried pies with potatoes are ready. Serve warm.
  18. Bon Appetit!
