Frittata is an Italian-style omelet made with meat, vegetables and cheese. First, frittattu is fried in a pan and then baked in the oven.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the meat filling. Chop bacon and ham.
  2. Finely chop the onion, chop the garlic, wash and chop the parsley.
  3. Fry the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  4. Place the bacon on a paper towel with a slotted spoon and pat dry. Drain the bacon fat from the pan; you don't need it.
  5. Heat the frying pan again over medium heat. Place the minced meat, onion and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the meat is brown.
  6. Add bacon, ham, parsley and pepper. Refrigerate. We need 1 glass of prepared minced meat. The rest of the minced meat can be decomposed in portions and frozen (frozen minced meat can be stored for 3 months).
  7. Beat eggs lightly.
  8. Chop the basil, mash the garlic.
  9. Finely chop the zucchini, cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
  10. In a bowl, mix eggs, 2 tbsp. parmesan, basil, red pepper, salt and black pepper.
  11. In a pan suitable for further baking in the oven, heat the oil, put the garlic, fry it for 30 seconds.
  12. Add zucchini. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Continuously stirring, add the prepared minced meat.
  13. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Pour the beaten eggs into the pan into the prepared meat mixture. Cook over medium heat. When the mixture thickens a little, use a spatula to separate the edges of the omelet from the sides of the pan. Raise the omelet so that the non-thickened part of it glass down. Continue frying, lifting the omelette, until the eggs are done.
  14. Place the tomato slices on top. Sprinkle with the remaining parmesan and mozzarella.
  15. Bake an omelet with meat, vegetables and cheese in the oven for 5 minutes. Take out and leave for another 5 minutes. Serve the frittata hot immediately.
  16. Bon Appetit!
