For garlic potatoes, prepare the foods listed. Boil the potatoes in a peel in salted water until tender, 20-30 minutes, cool.
Peel the finished potatoes, chop in any convenient way - grate or mash with a fork. Add salt and pepper to taste, clean chopped herbs to the potatoes.
If potatoes with a high starch content and do not want to stick into a homogeneous mass, add a raw chicken egg. Mix the mass.
Pour unscented vegetable oil into the pan, add crushed garlic and fresh rosemary leaves to it.
When the garlic is browned and, together with the rosemary, they begin to emit a delicious aroma, fish them out of the oil and throw them away - they have already fulfilled their function.
Put the potatoes in this fragrant oil, flatten it with a kitchen spatula, giving it a round shape. Fry both sides until crispy and fragrant.
Serve hot garlic potatoes as a side dish.
