Ginger tea with sea buckthorn

We drink such tea in the country when the sea buckthorn is already ripe and the cold has come. Warming, fragrant, healthy. With such tea, cold and cold are not terrible!

  1. 1. Ginger root (about 2 cm) is peeled and cut into thin slices. Bring water to a boil, and throw in ginger and a couple of star anise. Boil a couple of minutes.
  2. 2. In the meantime, crush the sea buckthorn in a mortar. You can use it in advance with sugar, but then you will need very little honey.
  3. 3. Add sea buckthorn to tea, and remove from heat. Let it brew for 5 minutes. Strain, and add honey to taste.
