Grease is a Balkan dish made from cottage cheese, feta cheese, eggs and herbs, very popular in Bulgaria. Good hearty breakfast. Preparing quickly and easily.

Ingredients

  1. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  2. Rinse green onions, dry with a napkin. Chop finely.
  3. Rinse and dry chicken eggs. Carefully separate the whites from the yolks.
  4. We send cottage cheese, grated feta cheese, chopped onion into a convenient bowl. We mix.
  5. Season with ground pepper and, if necessary, salt.
  6. Heat ghee or butter in a skillet. We spread the curd mass. Spread evenly over the bottom of the pan and fry for 3-5 minutes over low heat.
  7. Add chicken yolks, warm up a little. Gently, in several movements, mix with the curd mass, or you can leave the yolks intact. Fry over low heat so that the curd and egg mass hardens. You can cover it with a lid.
  8. The grease is ready.
