Green borsch with sorrel is one of those dishes whose taste always brings us back to childhood. A simple seasonal dish without which it is difficult to imagine summer. It cooks quickly and can be done even by novice cooks. It tastes great on both meat broth and lean food.

  1. In a saucepan with boiling water throw rice.
  2. Cut the potatoes into cubes and throw in boiling rice. Cook for almost 10-15 minutes.
  3. Sorrel is washed, cut, and stewed in butter. Add sour cream and simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
  4. Add the stewed sorrel to the pan. Cook for 3-5 minutes. Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
  5. Boil eggs and add ready-made borscht.
  6. Serve green borscht to the table. Bon appetit!
