Unusual themed breakfast in honor of All Saints Day - an omelette "Bloody Hand". Delicate omelet on milk, stuffed with rice, ketchup and "fingers" from thin sausages, it turns out to be very satisfying and ... really scary! Happy Halloween Scare or Scare!)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the filling.
  2. Rinse the rice, pour 170 ml of water into a cauldron or saucepan (the approximate proportion of rice and water is 1: 3), put on medium heat and bring to a boil. Cook the rice, stirring occasionally, for about 12-15 minutes, until the cereal is soft and the water is absorbed.
  3. Then add ketchup (2 tablespoons), salt and pepper to the boiled rice.
  4. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  5. Make an omelet.
  6. Break eggs into a deep bowl.
  7. Add milk, starch and salt.
  8. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  9. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and pour the egg mixture into it. Fry the omelet over medium heat for about 1.5 minutes on each side, until the egg mass hardens.
  10. Make "fingers".
  11. Clean the sausages from the factory casing (if any), put on a cutting board and cut to length - they should be of different lengths, like fingers. Make small incisions on each "finger", imitating the folds of the phalanges. As an example, you can use your own fingers for the length of the "fingers" and phalanges.
  12. Transfer the finished omelet to a plate. Place the rice and ketchup filling in the center.
  13. Gently roll the stuffed omelet into a loose roll.
  14. Turn the roll seam down. Carefully make holes in the roll and insert the "fingers" sausages into them.
  15. Pour the remaining ketchup over the omelet (3-4 tablespoons), simulating blood.
  16. Fancy Halloween themed omelette Bloody Hand is ready to serve!
  17. Bon Appetit!
