Homemade kvass on currant

  1. 1. Boil water in a saucepan, and add mint. Remove from fire.
  2. 2. Add lightly crushed red and black currants and stir
  3. 3. When the mixture has cooled, strain it, pour it back into the saucepan, and heat slightly.
  4. 4. Add sugar and fresh yeast to the warm mixture. Stir and leave overnight.
  5. 5. The next day, bottle the kvass and refrigerate. In two days you will have excellent kvass ready.
