Dissolve the yeast in warm water with added sugar, let it stand for 10 minutes, so that it activates and a cap forms. Sift the flour, add salt, oil and pour in the diluted and risen yeast. Knead the dough (I kneaded with a mixer). Form a ball, cover the bowl with cling film or a lid and place in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin or stretch the dough with your hands to form a circle. Grease it with sauce, then put salami slices on top, onion thinly chopped in half rings, tomato slices. Lightly season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with chopped garlic, herbs and grated cheese on top and bake in the oven until tender. If desired, sprinkle the finished pizza with herbs (best of all with basil).
