Hot chocolate with caramel and sea salt

  1. 1. Break dark and milk chocolate into pieces.
  2. 2. Rinse the mug with hot water. Place 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup in a mug and swing from side to side to spread the syrup along the bottom.
  3. 3. Combine milk, 33% cream and 1/4 cup sugar in a saucepan, put on medium heat, stir and add the broken chocolate without boiling. Reduce heat and simmer until chocolate is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
  4. 4. Pour hot chocolate into a mug. Garnish with whipped cream on top, drizzle with caramel syrup, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and a pinch of crystallized sugar.
