We offer you a traditional recipe for Italian cuisine. Frittata is an oven-baked omelet with various additives. We made a frittata with smoked sausages, leeks and two types of cheese.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We break the eggs into a separate container. Beat well with a whisk until smooth. Then add milk in a thin stream, continuing to beat gradually. How fluffy and high the frittata will turn out depends on how our eggs and milk are beaten. Add some salt and continue whisking. You can take a mixer, but I like working with a whisk better. Beat until a fluffy foam with bubbles is formed. Now we add spices, I have spicy herbs. You can take absolutely any that you like the most. And beat a little more.
  2. Cut the leeks into rings of medium size and spread evenly in a baking dish. I did not smear the form with anything, since I use a glass one and there is no need for this. Dishes in it do not stick and do not burn.
  3. Cut the smoked sausages into small slices. Gently spread on top of the onion over the entire surface.
  4. Cut the cheese into cubes. I have unsalted cheese, but you can take any. If you take salted, then do not add salt.
  5. Pour the onion and sausages with the egg mixture. We spread the cheese.
  6. Finely chop the parsley and dill.
  7. Sprinkle with herbs.
  8. Cut the bread into cubes. Put it in a mold and gently immerse it in an egg-milk mixture so that it is well saturated and not dry.
  9. We bake the frittata in the oven at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  10. If you are a cheese lover like me, finely grate the hard cheese and, as soon as you take the finished frittata out of the oven, sprinkle it with cheese.
  11. Add a few tomatoes - and that's it, the Italian breakfast is ready!
  12. Bon Appetit!
