I really like pumpkin juice without any additives, it seems to me that pumpkin is quite self-sufficient. And if another variety turns out to be with a melon flavor, like mine, it's just a fairy tale.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. Peel the pumpkin from the peel and seeds.
  2. 2. Cut into pieces.
  3. 3. Put the pumpkin pieces in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Put on fire and cook until done.
  4. 4. Grind the finished pumpkin with a blender without removing it from the broth.
  5. 5. Add 1 glass of sugar. My glass is 200 ml. Stir.
  6. 6. Add citric acid.
  7. 7. Put the pot back on the heat and bring it to a boil. After cooling, the juice is ready to drink.
  8. 8. If it seems to you that the juice is thick, then you can safely add a little water before the last boil, as well as a little sugar to taste.
  9. 9. Well, if you decide to prepare pumpkin juice for the future, then after boiling, pour it into sterilized jars and close with iron lids.
