Keraflet is the so-called French dish, which is a potato baked with cheese, cracklings and onions. Very satisfying and delicious!

Ingredients

  1. If the potatoes are young, wash them thoroughly. Old crop potatoes must be peeled and washed.
  2. Cut the potatoes into circles about 7 mm thick.
  3. Boil the potatoes in boiling milk for 15 minutes, then fold over a sieve.
  4. Turn on the oven, let it heat up to 180 degrees.
  5. Melt the butter in a skillet.
  6. Peel the onion and cut into thin half rings.
  7. Fry the onions in butter until golden brown.
  8. Cut the bacon into 1 cm thick cubes.
  9. Fry bacon in a dry skillet until greaves.
  10. Cut the cheese into cubes.
  11. Combine potatoes, onions, and greaves.
  12. Place the potatoes, onions and cracklings in an ovenproof dish, season with salt, and spread the cheese cubes on top. Bake potatoes with onions, bacon and cheese in the oven for 15 minutes.
  13. Serve hot.
