Kraffins are sweet buns made from yeast dough.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour yeast, salt, granulated sugar into flour. Pour in slightly warm melted butter (50 g) and slightly warm (35-40 degrees) milk. We knead the dough.
  2. The dough is kneaded on a board or table for at least 15-20 minutes. (add flour as needed). The result is a smooth, soft dough.
  3. We form the yeast dough into a ball, send it to a mold greased with butter, cover with cling film. It takes 40-60 minutes for the dough to rise and rise in volume.
  4. We divide the risen dough into 6 parts, form a ball from each part. Cover the dough with cling film again and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Now we roll each ball into a thin layer and grease with softened butter.
  6. Then we roll the dough into tubes (do not forget to cover the blanks with a film or towel).
  7. We cut each tube lengthwise into two parts, gently pressing the blade of the knife so that the layers of dough do not stick together. We turn each part with a snail, layered side out.
  8. We shift the cruffins into a special form for muffins, put them on proofing under the film for another hour.
  9. After proofing, cover the form with foil and send the buns to the oven preheated to 180 degrees (the level is below the middle). The total baking time is 20-30 minutes.
  10. After 10 minutes, remove the foil, the cruffin buns will increase in volume.
  11. On average, it takes another 10-20 minutes. for the readiness of yeast dough buns, but be guided by your oven.
  12. It remains to sprinkle the finished kraffins with powdered sugar.
  13. Kraffins are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, they are delicious to eat right away!
