kvass is delicious!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the ingredients for kvass. Boil 2.5 liters of water and cool until warm.
  2. Pour 0.5 liters of boiling water over the hibiscus to make a strong brew. Insist for about 10 minutes. Then mix the tea leaves passed through a strainer and boiled water.
  3. Mix sugar, lemon and yeast in a jar. Add 10-15 raisins.
  4. Pour in water with hibiscus. Stir well. Cover with gauze and place in a warm place.
  5. After a few hours, the fermentation process will begin. Leave to wander for a day. Then pour into convenient bottles and refrigerate. I advise you to let it stand in the refrigerator for 1-2 days and ripen the kvass a little, so it will become tastier.
