Ingredients

Directions

  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks and place in two different containers. Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to each container and beat lightly with a fork to dissolve the salt and become homogeneous.
  2. Cut the tomato into semicircles about 0.5 cm thick, the ham into slices, the cheese into thin slices. You will need 6 slices of ham and cheese and 9 slices of tomato.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and brush with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Pour a small portion of the egg whites into the skillet and spread over the bottom to form a thin pancake. Fry the protein for 20-30 seconds, until it sets.
  4. Then place the ham on the right half of the protein pancake.
  5. Fold the pancake in half, from left to right, covering the ham.
  6. Pour some egg yolk onto the resulting free space and spread in a thin layer. When the yolk has set slightly, add 3 tomato slices.
  7. Fold the omelet in half again, now from right to left, covering the tomatoes.
  8. Pour a portion of the protein into the resulting space, put 2 slices of cheese.
  9. Cover the cheese with the left half of the omelet.
  10. Pour the next batch of egg yolks into the skillet, place 2 slices of cheese and fold the omelet again from right to left, covering the cheese.
  11. Repeat all layers one more time in turn: protein + ham, yolk + tomatoes, protein + cheese, yolk + cheese.
  12. Pour the last protein into the pan, add the ham and tomatoes.
  13. Fold the omelet in half, covering the ham and tomatoes. Simmer the omelet in a skillet for another 30-40 seconds to warm up the last layer of filling.
  14. Layered omelet with ham, tomatoes and cheese is ready. Transfer the omelet to a plate, top with lettuce if desired and serve.
  15. Bon Appetit!
