Cake with an interesting name "Sfuf" - a traditional Lebanese pastry with semolina, turmeric, anise and sesame crust! Thanks to this, the cupcake has a beautiful sunny color and a divine aroma with oriental notes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Pour sugar into warm milk, mix.
  2. Now add ground anise, turmeric and sunflower oil to sweet milk. Stir the mixture again with a whisk.
  3. Mix flour with baking powder, sift into bowl with milk mixture. Pour semolina here.
  4. Knead a homogeneous dough.
  5. Transfer the dough to a baking dish. Sprinkle the surface of the dough with sesame seeds, cashew nuts, coconut flakes (all together or one at a time).
  6. Bake the Lebanese mannik in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Ready cake "Sfuf" cool and cut, serve with tea, coffee or other drinks.
