Lemon rice with milk

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt butter, vegetable and olive oil in a saucepan.
  2. Fry the onions for one minute.
  3. Add garlic and lemon zest. Continue cooking and stirring for thirty seconds or until aroma appears.
  4. Add rice. Season with turmeric, salt and pepper and stir fry for one minute.
  5. Stir cooked in vegetable broth, milk and lemon juice. Try to do this so that the milk does not curdle from the lemon juice, that is, there should be a gap between topping up liquids.
  6. Increase heat and bring mixture to a boil.
  7. Reduce heat, cover pan and simmer for eighteen to twenty minutes or until liquid evaporates.
  8. Garnish with dill and green onions before serving.
