At first, I wanted to call it "Plum", but I decided that many questions might arise because there are no plums in the composition :) but it tastes like a real Plum pudding!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1. We take a glass jar. Wash dried fruits and dry. We put it in a jar along with ground ginger, cardamom, grated nutmeg, 1-star anise petal, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
  2. 2. Wash the orange in hot water, three carefully with a brush (in order to remove the wax that the fruit is rubbed for longer storage), cut off the zest with a vegetable peeler (without the white part!); put it in a jar, squeeze the orange juice there, add sugar.
  3. 3. Let's not forget vanilla. Cut lengthwise and once across.
  4. 4. Pour everything with vodka (necessarily high quality!). We leave it in a dark, cool place for at least 10-14 days, stirring the contents from time to time so that the sugar dissolves. After that, we drain the liquor, and do not throw away the dried fruits - they will come in handy for baking wonderful muffins and pies.
  5. 5. The longer it brews, the tastier it will be. I made a liqueur for 1 bottle of vodka (750 ml) because I also use such liqueurs in the form of extracts for baking - instead of vanilla essence, for example. Serve with ice and a cinnamon stick!
