While the dough rises, prepare the sauce. Peel and finely chop the garlic, chop the basil leaves. Heat a saucepan with olive oil and sauté the garlic, 1 min. Add mashed tomatoes, basil, salt and sugar. Simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with pepper at the end.
Cut the pizza dough into triangles
Place the matched dough on a floured work surface. Roll into a circle with a diameter of 30 cm. Transfer to a baking sheet or into a mold. Place a saucer in the center and press it lightly into the dough so that a circle is imprinted on the dough. Divide this circle into 8 sections and cut.
Putting the ham and mozzarella on the pizza
Grease the remaining dough (ring) with sauce, slightly stepping back from the edges. Cut ham, tomatoes and mozzarella into small pieces and place on top of the sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
Wrap the dough to make a ring pizza
Wrap the filling dough triangles and pinch. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 220 ˚C. Bake for 15 minutes.
