Baked fish is delicious. And mackerel baked with new potatoes, with sour cream sauce - you will lick your fingers!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel potatoes. Pour with water, bring to a boil, salt (1 teaspoon) and cook at low boil for 30 minutes. Cool down.
  2. If the potatoes are large, cut them into slices, medium - into slices (optional).
  3. Prepare the mackerel. To do this, the fish must be gutted, the head and tail must be cut off. Cut large fish in half or into three parts, use small fish whole.
  4. Salt mackerel (about 0.5 tsp), breaded in flour.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Put the fish in hot oil. Brown on both sides over high heat. Fry for 2-2.5 minutes on one side.
  6. Then turn over and for about 1.5 minutes on the other side.
  7. Pour the remaining flour into sour cream, add salt (0.25 tsp) - this way the sour cream filling will be tastier.
  8. Turn on the oven. Grease a saucepan (baking dish).
  9. Pour half the sour cream with flour into the bottom of the mold.
  10. Lay out the potatoes.
  11. Lay the prepared fish on top of it.
  12. Pour the remaining sour cream over.
  13. Sprinkle with ground breadcrumbs.
  14. Bake mackerel with potatoes and sour cream in the oven until golden brown, at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  15. Mackerel baked with new potatoes is ready. You can serve in the dish in which the dish was prepared, or on a portioned plate. Decorate with herbs and, if desired, lemon slices.
  16. Bon Appetit!
