Peel the zucchini and cut into cubes.
Peel and cut the garlic into slices.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put the zucchini, cover and fry over medium-low heat, covered for 10 minutes. Shake the pan from time to time to mix the zucchini.
Add garlic, cover again and fry for another 5 minutes.
Grind with a blender until smooth.
Heat the milk.
Season hot potatoes with butter and milk. Mash thoroughly with a potato press. Under no circumstances should you use a blender!
Add the zucchini puree and mix the potato and zucchini puree again thoroughly.
When serving, sprinkle mashed potatoes and zucchini with ground red pepper.
