To make meat cakes with quail eggs, you will need the same products as for making regular cutlets. But the result is not an ordinary one, but a very original dish that can be prepared even for a festive table.

  1. Prepare the ingredients for the quail egg meat cakes.
  2. Peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes, finely grate the carrots.
  3. Fry onions in vegetable oil until transparent, season with salt and pepper. Then add the carrots and fry with the onions for 5 minutes. Cool down.
  4. Salt and pepper the minced meat, add fried onions and carrots.
  5. Mix the minced meat well. Beat it in a bowl several times for firmness (like for minced meatballs).
  6. Wash and dry the parsley. Separate the leaves from the stems. Finely chop the parsley leaves with a knife. Grate cheese and mix with parsley.
  7. Boil quail eggs hard-boiled (4-5 minutes after boiling water). Then cool and peel the eggs.
  8. Grease a muffin baking dish with vegetable oil. Fill each mold with minced meat, make a depression in the middle and put one quail egg at a time.
  9. Close the eggs with minced meat on top so that there are no gaps. Cover the form with foil and place in an oven heated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
  10. Then remove the foil and bake the meat cakes for another 10 minutes.
  11. At the end of cooking, carefully remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the muffins with the cheese and herbs mixture. Return to oven and cook until cheese is melted.
  12. Delicious meat cakes with quail eggs are ready.
  13. Serve hot.
