Juicy meatballs that will dilute even the most boring side dish

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Peel the onion, finely chop or grate.
  2. Cut off the crust from white bread (better than yesterday's) and soak the bread in milk. Squeeze out the swollen bread from the milk.
  3. Wash the parsley, dry and chop finely.
  4. Add bread, onions, eggs, mustard, herbs, salt and pepper to the minced meat.
  5. Mix the minced meat well (preferably with your hands) and beat off a little, throwing it on the surface of the work table or into a bowl.
  6. Form small balls from the finished minced meat.
  7. In a frying pan preheated with vegetable oil, over medium heat, fry the meatballs on one side for ~ 3 minutes.
  8. Turn over to the other side, fry for another ~ 1-2 minutes. Reduce heat and bring meatballs until cooked ~ 3-4 minutes.
  9. Transfer the finished meatballs to a bowl, cover and set aside.
  10. For making the sauce.
  11. Strain the meat juice and butter formed in a frying pan through a sieve.
  12. Grate tomatoes (without skin) on a coarse grater.
  13. Pass the garlic through a press.
  14. Chop the parsley.
  15. Pour strained meat juice into a clean pan and heat.
  16. Put the tomato gruel in a pan and simmer, stirring occasionally, for ~ 3 minutes, until the gruel thickens a little.
  17. Add tomato paste, garlic, stir and simmer for another ~ 2 minutes. Salt and pepper.
  18. Increase heat, add a little broth or water to the pan and bring to a boil.
  19. When the sauce comes to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally for ~ 3 minutes.
  20. Add parsley to the sauce, stir, cover and let it brew for ~ 3-5 minutes.
  21. Put the meatballs in the sauce and heat a little.
  22. Put the boiled pasta on a plate, put the meatballs on top and pour over the tomato sauce.
