Meatballs in tomato sauce are delicious, satisfying, easy to prepare and very budgetary. For which we, in fact, love him! Then they will perfectly absorb the tomato sauce and turn out to be very tasty and juicy!

  1. For meatballs in tomato sauce, crush the white bread into a small bowl and cover with cold milk. Leave for 10 minutes at room temperature, then squeeze.
  2. Peel and crush the cloves of garlic with the flat side of a knife. Chop finely. Wash the parsley, dry it and tear off the leaves. Chop very finely. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  3. Prepare the minced meatballs. To do this, put the finished meat in a bowl, add bread, eggs, chopped garlic and parsley, grated cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Knead and let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. Shape the meatballs: Add some minced meat and roll into walnut-sized balls, periodically wetting your hands in water. Thanks to this manipulation, the meat will not stick to the fingers and palms.
  5. Make a tomato sauce for the meatballs. Peel the onion and chop finely. Heat the oil in a wide saucepan or heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add the onion and fry for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add mashed tomatoes to the fried onions. Pour in water, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil and simmer the tomato sauce over medium heat for 3 minutes.
  7. Add the meatballs to the resulting tomato sauce. Reduce the fire to low. Simmer the meatballs in the sauce for 10-50 minutes. Stir occasionally. Mashed potatoes, boiled rice, buckwheat or any pasta are ideal as a side dish.
