Easy to prepare, but original and delicious meatloaf with egg, baked in puff pastry. It is made from minced pork with garlic and herbs, and the filling is made from whole boiled eggs and soft cheese. The minced meat roll casserole is ideally complemented by the brown, crispy crust of puff pastry. A very decent dish, be sure to try it!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. We prepare products.
  2. Defrost the puff pastry in advance.
  3. We wash the parsley.
  4. Cook 4 eggs hard-boiled (8-10 minutes after boiling) and cool in cold water.
  5. Separate the parsley leaves from the stems and chop with a knife.
  6. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press.
  7. Add 1 egg, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper to the minced meat.
  8. Knead the minced meat well.
  9. Peel the boiled eggs.
  10. Cut the cheese into slices.
  11. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  12. Lay out a layer of puff pastry on a silicone mat or baking paper and slightly roll it out on the sides to make a rectangle. If you are using two layers of dough, place them overlapping and press down with your fingers at the junction, equalizing the thickness of the dough.
  13. In the center, across the dough rectangle, lay out half of the minced meat. Distribute the minced meat evenly in the form of an oval, not reaching the edges of the dough from the long sides by about 5 cm.
  14. Put half the cheese slices in a row in the middle on the minced meat.
  15. Put peeled boiled eggs on the cheese, and on top - the remaining slices of cheese.
  16. We spread the remaining minced meat and give the shape of a loaf (roll).
  17. On both sides of the meatloaf, cut the edges of the dough at an angle of 45 degrees into strips 2-3 cm wide.
  18. We wrap the edges of the dough on the minced meat from above and below. We intertwine the dough strips on the left and right, closing the meatloaf.
  19. Shake the egg.
  20. Lubricate the dough with an egg on top.
  21. We transfer the workpiece along with the rug (or parchment) to a baking sheet and send it to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, for 50-60 minutes. (During the baking process, meat juice will flow out.)
  22. Let the finished meatloaf pie cool slightly.
  23. Meatloaf with egg, baked in puff pastry, cut into slices and serve. It tastes good both warm and cold.
  24. Bon Appetit!
