Milk rice with spices is similar to our usual milk rice porridge, but very fragrant and, if you add all the recommended sugar, it is very sweet. Milk rice with spices is a great option for a family breakfast that will appeal to children, parents, and grandparents.

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water.
  2. Bring milk to a boil, add rice and stir. Add coconut flakes and stir. Cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is soft.
  3. Add sugar, chopped almonds, saffron, cinnamon and cardamom. Mix. If the rice is thick, then add a little milk and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. At the end of cooking, add pre-soaked raisins and mix.
  5. Serve hot. Bon appetit!
