Meat balls in puff pastry, baked on skewers in the oven, are a spectacular and very tasty dish that will perfectly fit into the everyday menu and decorate any holiday table! The meatballs turn out juicy, the crispy dough is saturated with meat juice, I'm sure everyone will be delighted!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
  2. Defrost puff pastry.
  3. During the cooking process, you will need wooden skewers.
  4. Transfer the minced meat to a bowl.
  5. Peel the onion and garlic. Grate the onion on a coarse grater, and the garlic on a fine grater.
  6. Put the onion and garlic into the bowl with the minced meat.
  7. Add salt, ground pepper and pour in soy sauce.
  8. Mix the minced meat thoroughly and beat it off properly. Put the bowl of minced meat in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
  9. Shape the minced meat into balls the size of a large walnut. I got 15 meatballs - 3 pieces per skewer.
  10. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.
  11. Cut the puff pastry into strips (5 pieces) slightly wider than the diameter of the meat balls.
  12. Soak wooden skewers in cold water for 5 minutes. Then take a skewer and string a strip of dough on it, stepping back from the edge of 1.5-2 cm, then a meatball and again the dough. Thus, string three meatballs on a skewer, wrapping them with a strip of dough.
  13. Form skewers from the remaining meatballs and dough strips. Place the skewers in a baking dish. Lubricate the dough with egg yolk and put the skewers in a preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the meatballs and dough are golden brown.
  14. Minced meat skewers in puff pastry, baked on skewers, are ready.
  15. Transfer the skewers to a plate and serve hot, garnishing with parsley if desired.
  16. Enjoy your meal!
