Muffins with figs

Muffins are prepared in milk, with dried figs.

Ingredients

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper rosettes.
  2. In a bowl, mix milk and lemon juice, set aside for 5 minutes.
  3. Bring the orange juice to a boil in a small saucepan, put the chopped figs into it, leave aside to cool.
  4. In a separate bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  5. Add eggs and butter to milk, mix well. Pour flour into this mixture, add figs, orange juice, orange zest and almonds, mix.
  6. Put the dough into prepared molds, filling them 3/4 and place in a preheated oven, bake muffins with figs for 25-30 minutes until cooked.
  7. Ready-made muffins in milk with figs to get out of the oven, let cool at room temperature. Then take the muffins out of the molds and serve.
