Muffins with white chocolate icing

Muffins, like the glaze itself, are prepared with the addition of white chocolate and cream.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 170 degrees. Line 12 muffin cups with paper rosettes.
  2. Melt white chocolate with cream in a steam bath. Set aside, let cool.
  3. Mix flour with baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  4. In another bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla extract until creamy. Gradually add eggs, beating well after each.
  5. Continuing to beat the butter mixture at low speed, add flour and melted chocolate.
  6. Pour batter into prepared molds, filling them 3/4 full.
  7. Place the molds with the dough in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until a clean wooden stick. Remove the muffins from the oven and let cool.
  8. Meanwhile, prepare the glaze. Melt white chocolate with cream in a water bath. Remove from the bath, add powdered sugar, mix well.
  9. Place frosting in refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  10. Apply frosting to muffins.
