Matafan is an old French dish. The word "matafan" is literally translated as "killing hunger". A hearty pancake dough dish is cooked in the oven, it can be meat or sweet, depending on the additions to the baked pancake. I made matafan with sausage and cheese.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare all the food you need. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Break eggs into a bowl, pour in milk.
  3. Salt, add flour.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add chopped onions to the pancake batter.
  6. Cut the sausage into thin slices.
  7. Fry in a heat-resistant skillet with 10 g butter until golden brown.
  8. Remove the sausage from the pan. Melt the remaining butter in it.
  9. Pour the pancake dough into the pan. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, so that the mass in the pan "grabs".
  10. Take out the pan with pancake, add the sausage.
  11. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes.
  12. Matafan with sausage and cheese is ready.
  13. Bon Appetit!
