An omelet with white bread and hard cheese is perfect for your morning meal! The omelet according to this recipe turns out to be satisfying, cooks quickly, tastes like egg croutons and is just perfect with hot sweet coffee!

Ingredients

  1. Break the white bread into small pieces and transfer to a bowl
  2. Pour milk over the bread and mash with your hand or fork. You should get a wet crumb.
  3. Add eggs to the bread.
  4. Add salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Stir eggs with bread with a spoon until you get a smooth egg mixture with bread crumbs in it.
  6. Grate hard cheese on a coarse grater, add to the omelet mixture.
  7. Stir.
  8. Melt a piece of butter in a skillet. Pour the omelette mixture into the skillet and spread evenly. Cook the omelet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Then reduce heat to low, cover the pan with a lid and cook the omelet for another 5 minutes.
  9. Turn the omelet over and fry over medium heat for another 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.
  10. Transfer the finished omelet with bread and cheese to a plate.
  11. Serve hot or warm.
