Omelet with cheese in pita bread (in a pan)

Unusual, quick and very easy to make omelet with cheese and milk, cooked in pita bread. Such a simple, delicious and very satisfying omelet will provide energy for most of the day!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Any cheese can be used: regular hard cheese, feta cheese or suluguni.
  2. Drive the eggs into a deep container, pour milk into them.
  3. Mix thoroughly with a fork or whisk until smooth.
  4. Season the mixture with ground black pepper and salt. Stir again, dissolving the grains of salt as much as possible.
  5. Grate cheese on a coarse grater.
  6. Grease a frying pan with half the butter.
  7. Put pita bread in the pan. Smooth so that the edges of the pita bread hang down from all sides of the pan.
  8. On top of a large sheet of pita bread, if you wish, you can put another small piece of pita bread so that the egg mixture does not flow onto the surface of the pan.
  9. Put the pan on medium heat. Pour the egg-milk mixture on top of the pita bread.
  10. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  11. Cover the omelette mixture with cheese with the edges of the pita bread. Cut the remaining butter into small pieces and put on top of the pita bread.
  12. Cover the pan with a lid, reduce heat to low and fry the omelet with cheese in pita bread for about 10 minutes.
  13. Then turn over the "envelope" using a spatula.
  14. Fry under the lid for about 5 more minutes, until the eggs are fully cooked.
  15. Ruddy omelet with cheese in pita bread is ready. It remains only to cut it into portions and serve.
