Omelet with herbs, cheese and milk, in pita bread

I propose a recipe for an unusual omelet - omelet in pita bread. Inside the lavash there is an omelet with herbs, cheese and milk. Such an original omelet is prepared quickly enough, from available products, but it turns out to be very tasty.

Ingredients

  1. Finely chop green onions, parsley and dill.
  2. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Mix with a whisk or mixer.
  4. Add chopped herbs to the egg mixture.
  5. We mix.
  6. Rub the cheese on a coarse grater.
  7. We heat a frying pan (diameter of my frying pan is 24 cm, height is 5 cm) and melt 10 g of butter on it.
  8. Remove the pan from the stove and cover with a sheet of pita bread. Lavash should protrude beyond the edges of the pan so that it can then cover the entire filling.
  9. If the lavash is very long, cut off the extra edge a little.
  10. From the second pita bread, cut out a circle equal to the diameter of the pan.
  11. Place the circle of pita bread on the bottom of the pan on top of the first sheet of pita bread.
  12. Pour the egg mixture with herbs into a frying pan with pita bread.
  13. Then sprinkle with grated cheese.
  14. Now we wrap the edges of the pita bread, overlapping them in random order.
  15. The edges of the pita bread should completely cover the filling.
  16. Put the remaining butter on top of the pita bread (several pieces in different places).
  17. Cover the pan with a lid, put it on the stove, reduce the heat and fry the omelet in pita bread over low heat for about 12-15 minutes.
  18. When the omelet grasps (this can be understood by lightly pressing on the surface of the pita bread with your finger), turn the omelet in pita bread to the other side. Again cover the pan with a lid and fry the omelet in pita bread over low heat for another 5-7 minutes.
  19. Put the finished omelet in pita bread on a plate, cut into pieces and serve.
