The aroma of freshly brewed oriental coffee with cardamom in a Turk will wake up, invigorate and convince the most desperate pessimists that the morning can be good, even at the beginning of the work week. In addition, the drink, the recipe for which you will find below, is very different from the standard ones that are served in average cafes. Thanks to the combination of nutmeg and cardamom, oriental coffee brewed in a Turk does not cause tachycardia or other heart problems, therefore it can be drunk even by those who usually only inhale the aroma of the drink, and do not taste it, fearing for health.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Prepare the ingredients for an oriental coffee. Crush the cardamom boxes and scoop out the seeds. Grate the nutmeg (you need a very small piece).
  2. Pour the coffee beans, prepared cardamom and nutmeg into the grinder. Dust literally "into the dust." Open the device periodically and check. Bring to the required condition.
  3. Pour cold drinking water into the Turk. Add sugar and ground spiced coffee. Do not stir! Put on low heat and heat for 2-3 minutes.
  4. While the coffee and spice water is heating, prepare the cups. Pour boiling water over them and then pat dry with a clean towel. Place in a warm place before serving.
  5. Begin to lightly stir the coffee with spices and sugar. Just do not do it too intensely: just slightly "drown" the thick rising to the surface.
  6. When a light brown froth appears on the surface of the coffee, start spreading it out into the cups a little at a time. If the coffee starts to boil (on low heat it will happen in 10–20 minutes), immediately remove it from the heat and pour it into warmed cups.
