Pear cake with honey caramel

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Sift the flour into a deep bowl, place the cold butter cut into cubes here. Leave a small piece of butter for greasing the baking pans.
  2. Quickly rub the butter with flour into small crumbs with your hands. Add sugar to this and stir. You can take less sugar if the pears are sweet.
  3. Wash the pears, remove the cores and cut into large cubes.
  4. Cubes of fresh pears, as well as baking powder, cardamom and cinnamon, add to the butter crumb. Stir gently with a fork or spoon.
  5. Break the eggs into another deep bowl, add kefir (you can take yogurt instead of kefir).
  6. Stir with a whisk or spoon until smooth.
  7. Pour the liquid ingredients into the butter crumble and mix the dough with a spoon.
  8. Preheat the oven. Grease baking molds with butter. Put dough into molds.
  9. Bake pear cake on kefir in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 1 hour. Check the readiness of the cake by piercing it with a match: if the match remains dry, the cake can be removed from the oven.
  10. While the pear cake is cooling, prepare the caramel. Warm up the cream, add honey to it.
  11. The mass should boil. Boil the mass over low heat for about 5-7 minutes, it will become thicker and darker. Set the caramel aside and set aside.
  12. Cover the surface of the warm cake with honey caramel.
  13. Now the pear cake is ready to serve. The taste of a fragrant dessert will reveal black tea with milk even more. Try it!
