  1. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Set aside.
  2. In the bowl of a mixer or in a regular bowl, beat the butter and sugar for 2 minutes, until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, beat. Gradually add flour mixture, mix well, then add chocolate.
  3. Line a round springform pan or a pizza pan with a diameter of about 30 cm with parchment paper. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the surface and place in the preheated oven. Bake the chocolate cake for 30-35 minutes, until dark brown. Remove the finished cake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Brush the cooled chocolate cake with whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
