Moldavian placinths are traditionally prepared with pumpkin filling. These Moldovan pies from a simple unleavened dough with a juicy filling can be prepared quite quickly, and they will bring a lot of pleasure to your loved ones.

  2. Cooking the filling. Peel the pumpkin. Grate the peeled pumpkin on a coarse grater.

  11. Form a ball, cover with a towel and leave for a while (15-20 minutes).
  12. Turn on the oven. Then roll the dough into a large round layer and brush the entire surface with melted margarine or butter.
  13. Put the pumpkin filling in the middle of the round layer of dough and connect the edges in the center. Slightly spread the workpiece with your hands so that the filling is distributed more evenly, make a small hole for the steam to escape. Grease a baking sheet with oil. Put prepared placinths on a baking sheet. Place in the oven on the middle shelf.
  14. Bake the placinths with pumpkin in a hot oven at a temperature of 190-200 degrees until browning (30-40 minutes). Hot pies, greased each with margarine or butter, lay one on one, like a layer cake.
