It is best to enjoy an appetizing plum pie with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream, complementing the dessert with a cup of hot tea.

  1. Defrost and roll out the puff pastry by Rud TM. Cut off and set aside part of the dough to make the top.
  2. Grease the baking tin with butter and carefully put the dough in it. Make the sides. Cut off the excess dough with kitchen scissors.
  3. Wash plums thoroughly, remove the stones and cut lengthwise into four parts.
  4. Sprinkle the dough with starch and distribute it on the surface evenly.
  5. Fill the dough in the baking tin with the sliced plums. Sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon.
  6. The remaining dough is cut into thin long strips and plaited to cover the top of the pie.
  7. Use egg yolk to cover the top.
  8. Bake the pie at 180 °C for 30 minutes. Take the pie from the oven, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
