Another way to make a delicious, rich and satisfying meat soup with fresh cabbage.

  1. Place portions of pork in a saucepan and cover with cold water. After boiling, remove the foam, cover and cook over medium heat for 45-50 minutes.
  2. Pork ribs are great for soup.
  3. Chop the onion, grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Chop the cabbage. Cut the potatoes into medium pieces.
  4. Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for 30-60 seconds, then remove the skin. Cut the flesh into small pieces.
  5. Add potatoes, tomatoes, onions and carrots to the pan to the meat. Simmer, covered over medium heat, 15–20 minutes.
  6. Carrots and onions can be fried first.
  7. Add cabbage to the pot. Cook for another 10-15 minutes or longer, until tender.
  8. Season the soup with salt and pepper, add chopped garlic. Remove from heat after 5 minutes.
  9. Leave the cabbage soup covered for 15 minutes.
