Croquettes are usually deep-fried, but I recommend that you cook the croquettes in the oven. Croquettes recipe, which I offer you, with potatoes and mushrooms.

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into cubes. Boil potatoes in salted water, drain and dry. Rub the potatoes through a sieve.
  2. Combine potatoes with melted butter. Add the beaten egg there.
  3. Peel the onion and cut into cubes. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and chop finely.
  4. Fry mushrooms and onions in vegetable oil (40 g).
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste. Fry until all the liquid has evaporated.
  6. Wet your hands with water and make croquettes of approximately the same size.
  7. Take a serving of mashed potatoes with wet hands and roll up a ball. Flatten on both sides and put the mushroom filling on the tortilla.
  8. Form round croquettes.
  9. Dip potato croquettes in bread crumbs.
  10. Put potato croquettes with mushrooms on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil and send to the oven.
  11. Potato croquettes with mushrooms are ready!
