Potato cutlets with feta cheese and tongue

Cutlets are made from grated potatoes with the addition of feta cheese and pieces of boiled tongue.

  1. Peel the potatoes, wash and grate.
  2. Also grate the cheese.
  3. Cut the boiled tongue into small cubes.
  4. Mix potatoes, feta cheese and tongue, stir. If the cheese is unsalted, add salt.
  5. Add flour. Stir again. The mass should turn out to be quite dense so that you can form cutlets from it with your hands.
  6. Wet your hands with water. Separate a portion of the dough, form an oblong cutlet. So cut up the entire potato mass.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan. Put cutlets in a frying pan, fry them over medium heat until golden brown (3-4 minutes).
  8. Then turn over, cover and fry the potato cutlets with tongue for another 3 minutes on the other side.
