Potato dough rolls stuffed with sausage and cheese cook quickly and eaten even faster! Everyone's favorite combination of potatoes, sausage and cheese with herbs, served in the form of bagels, looks original and interesting.

  1. First, prepare mashed potatoes: peel the potatoes, chop coarsely and boil in boiling water for 20 minutes, until tender.
  2. Drain the potatoes in water. Add butter to the potatoes. Puree the vegetables with a crush.
  3. Transfer hot potatoes to a bowl and cool completely. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Add the protein to the puree, and leave the yolk - we will need it at the final stage of forming the bagels
  4. Whisk the mashed potatoes with egg white. Add salt and black pepper.
  5. Add baking powder and, gradually adding wheat flour, knead the dough.
  6. When the dough is smooth and keeps its shape well, it is ready for further work. Cover the dough with a bowl.
  7. Prepare the filling.
  8. Cut the sausage and hard cheese into small cubes.
  9. Combine cheese and sausage cubes in a bowl. Chop the parsley finely and add to a bowl. The filling is ready.
  10. Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  11. Sprinkle the surface of the table generously with flour. Roll out the dough into a round cake that is 0.3 cm thick and about 40 cm in diameter.
  12. Using a pizza knife or a regular knife, cut the circle into 8 approximately equal sectors.
  13. Place a tablespoon of the filling on each sector along the edge of the cake.
  14. Roll each sector into a bagel from the edge of the cake to the center so that the tip stays at the bottom. Bend the bagel slightly into a crescent shape.
  15. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place the bagels on top of it.
  16. Lubricate the surface of the bagels with yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds
  17. Bake potato dough rolls with sausage and cheese in the oven at 200 degrees for 20-22 minutes. The bagels should be rosy and slightly enlarged.
  18. Transfer the potato dough rolls with sausage, cheese and herbs to a wooden plank or wire rack and cool.
