Let's make an open pie that looks like a quiche, but only with a potato base. A great option for a hearty snack, light lunch or dinner. The basis is potato dough, and with the filling you can dream up and cook, for example, one of the options - with canned tuna, bell peppers, corn and cheese. Try it.

  1. Preparing the base for the cake. To do this, boil the potatoes in their skins for about 15-20 minutes, until tender.
  2. Peel and knead the finished potatoes. Add 30 g butter, egg and salt. We mix.
  3. Gradually add flour in portions (160 g is 1 glass of 250 ml) and mix.
  4. The amount of flour depends on the type of potato.
  5. Knead a soft pliable dough.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  7. Grease a baking dish (24 cm in diameter) with butter and sprinkle with flour. We spread the potato dough in a mold and evenly distribute it over the entire surface with a layer of about 1 cm, form the sides.
  8. Cover the dough with parchment paper, fill it with special balls or legumes / pasta in order to preserve the shape of the blank during baking.
  9. We bake the potato base at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
  10. While the base is baking, we are preparing the filling.
  11. Peel the onion and garlic and cut into small pieces.
  12. Wash the pepper, peel and cut into small squares.
  13. Fry the onion in butter for 4-5 minutes, until transparent.
  14. Add chopped peppers and chopped garlic to the onion. Cook vegetables, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  15. We take out the finished base from the oven, free it from the parchment with a load.
  16. Spread the fried vegetables in an even layer on the base of the pie.
  17. Put the tuna meat on the vegetables and distribute it over the entire surface.
  18. Sprinkle the filling with frozen corn.
  19. We send potato pie with tuna, pepper and corn to an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
  20. Rub the cheese on a medium grater.
  21. 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking, sprinkle the cake with grated cheese.
