  1. Put on fire and boil 2.5 liters of water. Meanwhile, peel, wash and cut the potatoes into large strips.
  2. Rinse the millet. Boil the kettle. Pour boiling water over millet for 5-10 minutes. Drain the water.
  3. Dip potatoes into boiling water. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Then add millet. Cook everything together for 5-10 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Peel, wash and cut into strips onions and carrots.
  6. Rinse the sauerkraut, chop it finely.
  7. Preheat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil. Put the onions and carrots in the oil. Simmer, stirring occasionally, over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Add cabbage. Simmer everything together, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
  9. Add the tomato. Mix. Simmer for one minute.
  10. Put the frying in the soup. Season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf and sugar. Cook over the lowest heat, covered for 5 minutes.
  11. Wash and chop the herbs. Add to soup, cover. Remove from heat.
