Melt the lard in a saucepan, fry the sliced pork, chorizo and onion in it for 2 minutes. Add chopped peppers, tomatoes and boiled squid, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add rice, peas, boiled mussels, quartered artichoke hearts, garlic, almonds, pine nuts and saffron. Cover with water, bring to a boil and simmer until tender. Serve garnished with finely chopped parsley.
