  1. Pour the rice into a saucepan and add the washed beans, chopped garlic, whole hot peppers, thinly chopped green onions and thyme.
  2. Pour in coconut milk and water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove hot peppers and serve.
