Rice with sausages and bacon

Ingredients

  1. Cook the rice: add the rice to a saucepan of boiling unsalted water, stir with a wooden spatula and cook over high heat for 12-15 minutes, until the rice is tender. Empty the rice into a large colander and rinse well under cold water. Let the water drain.
  2. While the rice is cooking, prepare the rest of the food: cut the bacon into strips and the sausages into 4 pieces each. Pepper seeds and cut into cubes. Cut the onion into cubes and the celery into thin slices. Cut the olives in half and remove the pits.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet, add bacon and sausages and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove all meat from the pan and set aside. Place the peppers, celery and onions in a skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-8 minutes, until the vegetables are tender. Add the olives and return the meat to the pan.
  4. Pour rice into a frying pan, stir well, pour over soy sauce and heat well. Taste and salt to taste. Serve immediately.
