Salted lemons are a great gourmet snack. Salted lemons cook quickly, after a few hours they can be eaten. For baked meat or barbecue - an indispensable snack.

  1. Wash the lemons well, peel the onion and garlic.
  2. Coarsely chop all the spices (mash with a pestle).
  3. Cut the onion into feathers, the garlic into slices, and the chili pepper into rings.
  4. Lemons cut into circles, about 3-4 mm.
  5. Mix salt and spices. (For a medium lemon, I use half a teaspoon of salt.)
  6. We put slices of lemon in a jar, sprinkling with salt, spices, onion, garlic, parsley and chili. It is not necessary to crush strongly, the lemons will then become softer and settle on their own.
  7. Pour the lemons with vegetable oil, so that they are completely covered. Then this fragrant oil can be used in salads.
  8. Salted lemons are ready! They are good with baked fish or fried poultry, salted lemons can be added to a vegetable salad or just put them on a sandwich.
